What we collect

• Account: your email address, used for sign-in links and your quote/receipt communications. If you use Sign in with Apple we store Apple's anonymous user id and the email Apple shares (which can be a private relay address), plus your first name if you choose to share it.
• Reports and blocks: if you report content or block someone, we keep that report or block so we can review it and hide their content from you.
• Taste activity: pieces you view, love, skip, style and share inside THATFIT.
• Fitting photo: a photo you choose to upload for virtual try-on. It is private to your account, never shown to other users, and reusable only for your own renders.
• Receipts you send us: if you forward purchase or consignment emails to your THATFIT receipt address, we extract the items (name, brand, price, date) to build your closet and sold history. The raw email is deleted after extraction; only the structured items remain.
• Closet photos: if you add outfit photos from your camera roll, each photo is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) only to detect the clothes in it. The original photos are deleted as soon as the scan finishes; we keep only small crops of the pieces you choose to keep, private to your account, and you can delete any piece at any time.
• Gmail access (only if you connect it, feature in progress): with your explicit consent we read order-confirmation and consignment emails to build your closet and sales history automatically. Use of Gmail data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use: Gmail data is used only to build your closet/sold history, never for advertising, never sold, never read by humans except with your consent or for security.

How we use it

Personalization (your taste model), your closet and sold history, virtual try-on renders, and honest recommendations with evidence. We do not sell personal data. No third-party advertising.

Processors

Hosting and database (Railway), AI processing for try-on, receipt extraction and closet photo scanning (OpenAI) (model providers process images/text transiently; no training on your data by us).

Sharing features

Loved lists, runway collections and try-on votes are shared ONLY when you create a share link; links are unlisted, revocable, and never include your email.

Your controls

Delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account) or at thatfit.app/delete-account; this removes your data. You can report or block people behind shared content (see our Terms). Revoke Gmail access anytime in your Google Account settings. Email us to request data deletion or export.

Children

THATFIT is not directed at children under 13.
